  • This is a very common question from all across the profession, and the answer might differ depending on who you ask. For us, the overall response is no. Our combination of adjustments plus soft tissue work helps your pain go away faster and the results last longer. The exercises you receive from us will also help to get rid of your pain and keep it that way, and you can continue to utilize your exercises even after you have completed your treatment plan. That being said, most of our patients still choose to come in for treatments on a maintenance schedule after their treatment plan, because now they know how good their body can feel and want prevent injuries and pain.

  • At North Sound Spine and Sports Therapy, we pride ourselves on giving you the most thorough exam in order to pinpoint the source of your pain and tailor a treatment plan specific to your needs. During the first visit, we first will go through a detailed history of your pain or injury, followed by postural assessment and range of motion testing, and then preform neuromuscular and orthopedic testing. After reviewing the findings and talking about our plan for care, we will then get into treatment! This will include soft tissue work and adjustments, to help you feel better and start your healing journey even on day one.
